Siobhan Scarlett (Dublin University Rifle Club) edged Raymond Kane (Defence Forces Shooting Team) out to take home the gold medal and title of 50m Prone National Champion. Ray won the silver medal with Terry Wearen (DFST) finishing in third place to win the bronze medal.
Class B was won by Val Pierce (Rathdrum Rifle and Pistol Club) followed by Peter Daynes (RRPC) who won silver. John Lancaster (Fingal Shooting Club) won gold in Class D, Patrick Lynch (DURC) took the silver medal and Jess Gorman (DURC) won bronze.
The 3-position event took place on Sunday with another exciting final to follow. After Raymond Kane was eliminated, winning the bronze medal, just 0.1 separated Sean Baldwin and Terry Wearen for the final shot of the event. Terry sealed the deal with a 10.5, winning the gold medal and title of 50m 3p National Champion with Sean Baldwin winning the silver medal.
