Dear members,
In order to provide our junior members with an opportunity to gain the experience of international competition the NTSA wish to send a developmental squad to the G.B. Junior International in Bisley on the 8th- 11th of August.
This opportunity is open to all shooters who are Under 21 on the 31/12/2005 in both Air Rifle and Prone Target Rifle.
The format of the squad is as follows: those interested are asked to submit their names, date of birth and contact details to Anthony Corballis (details below) before Friday 29th April.
They will need to attend a meeting and training session in UCD rifle club on Sunday 1st May at 10.30 where further details on the trip and details of the training commitments required of them will be outlined. In the period prior to the competition shooters will be required to commit to a serious training routine.
From those interested a squad will be selected to travel. It is important to note that participation does not guarantee selection.
Finally as a guideline, we strongly recommend that those submitting their names be capable of shooting a score of approximately 500 in a 60 shot competition.
I would ask that people circulate this notice to anyone who might be interested, and meet the criteria set out above, as soon as possible.
Yours in sport,
Anthony Corballis,
Secretary NTSA
