The first competition of the year saw a low turn out with only 9 competitors over three details. The absence of competitors from DURC was surprising and with only Nicola Murphy representing WTSC it was pleasing to see the competition turn into a real battle of wits.
Declan Kelly of DRC, having recently moved back up to Master Class following recent good shoots tied with Nicola Murphy on a score of 579 after the first 60 shots. Nicola Murphy doing exceptionally well, in one series scoring a perfect 100, took pole position on countback going in to the final.
It was a close run affair ending with only 0.5 seperating the two top competitors and even less at some moments of the final. However Nicola managed to claim the competition with Declan coming second. A full set of results are given below.
