The NTSA Prone match at East Coast Shooting Club was a great success with 22 members competing. The conditions, although a little tricky were ideal with very little wind and no rain. Changing light conditions were testing and we also had some target troubles due to some haste required in setting them up. As we now have stands in situ, these problems will not be evident at future matches. Gary Duff of Comber Rifle Club won the match with a 587 followed by Richard Stapleton of Wilkinstown Target Shooting Club on 581 and Sean Baldwin of the Defence Forces Shooting Team with a 579.
The Committee of the NTSA and indeed all the competitors would like to express their thanks to East Coast Shooting Club for hosting the competition and their members for their patience whilst the target system was being set up. The next match at East Coast will be on 11th April and notices will be sent out with detail times closer to the date.
